Terms of service.

Beauty Vault is a personal beauty record keeper. It lets you save appointments, products, routines, photos, receipts, events, and inspiration, share selected records with providers, grant trusted people permission-based access to your entire non-private vault, and use AI-assisted features such as routine extraction, receipt analysis, and Ask Vault.

Beauty Vault is an organizational tool. It does not provide medical, dermatological, or professional beauty advice, and AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. Always rely on a qualified professional for decisions about treatments, products, skin conditions, or anything affecting your health.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region, if higher) to use Beauty Vault.

You own the records, photos, and other content you save in your vault. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you, including processing it with our AI providers when you use AI features.

Sharing features such as the Beauty Passport, trusted people, and provider links are optional and controlled by you. Beauty Passport and provider links can be scoped before sharing; a trusted-person grant covers your entire non-private vault at the permission level you choose until you revoke it. Only capture and save content you have the right to use.

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to access other users’ data, probing or disrupting our systems, uploading malicious content, scraping the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Parts of Beauty Vault are free. Premium features may require a paid subscription. Where subscriptions are offered, pricing and billing terms are shown before you purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can manage or cancel your plan through your billing portal. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

Some product links in Beauty Vault are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. These open in your browser; we are not the seller and are not responsible for third-party products or stores.

Beauty Vault integrates with third-party services such as calendar providers, social platforms (for capturing inspiration you choose to import), and payment processors. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Optional catalog matches come from the community-maintained Open Beauty Facts and Open Food Facts databases. Their databases are available under the Open Database License 1.0, and database contents are available under the Database Contents License. Matches may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect; verify brand, product, category, and package details before relying on or saving them.

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You can stop using Beauty Vault at any time and delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your account and data. We may suspend or terminate the service or your access for violations of these terms, with notice where practicable.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Beauty Vault after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Beauty Vault’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
